This will be Amon Tobin's first appearance Down Under since 2006.
Additionally, as a friendly reminder, we would like to advise that the early bird pricing for the Amon Tobin Boxset ends April 2nd. Pre-order your copy now either standalone or with two tickets to a show on the upcoming North American Fall ISAM Live Tour
Over the last fifteen years, while other producers have come and gone, making a noise and grabbing headlines before failing to live up to or with the hype and fading away, Amon Tobin has calmly and quietly built a reputation as one of the pre-eminent electronic musicians of his generation. From his growing obsession with found sound, through his collaborations and work with everyone from the Kronos Quartet to Ryuchi Sakamoto to Philip Glass, on into his film score work and his innovative sound design for video games, Tobin has become a byword for quality and breath-taking originality. And with his live show for ISAM stunning audiences around the world (almost three million hits on YouTube and counting, plus a crowd that can include anyone from Brian Eno to Deadmaus, Keith Flint to Public Enemy, Trent Reznor to Muse), for the first time, his profile matches his many achievements. What better time, then, to release some kind of over-view of his work so far, less a career summary, than a dip into much of his work which has so far gone under the radar?
The Amon Tobin boxset is a strictly limited edition release and will come in the form of a beautiful high quality, bolt-fastened mechanical 'press'. Packed inside are 6 x 10" vinyl, 7 x CD, 2 x DVD and several posters. Most of the material is unreleased, almost none of it has ever been available on a physical format before. It includes new music, unreleased dub plates and a wealth of archive material: Amon Tobin's earliest audio experiments (never been played in public before), film and television score work, unreleased score work, deleted bootlegs, ISAM live show DVD, ISAM live audio album, remixes, cover versions and re-interpretations of the ISAM album, remixes Amon has produced for others, a recording of the (November 2010) Royal Albert Hall orchestrations of Amon Tobin and more...
Beautifully designed and packed with the kind of content which will finally secure Tobin's place at the top table of electronic music, this box set will convert the unconverted to this artist's unique and often startlingly beautiful uses of sound.
Amon Tobin is to release his first ever boxset and play his biggest ever London show.

From the article: "And while I’m sure that in part the same is true for Amon Tobin, it at least appeared that in 2011 he was working on one complete project, a feat of joined up thinking where each piece was as important as the others."

By far the hottest ticket on the concert circuit, ALL DATES are completely sold out and at a record pace. The tour's ambitious nature and stunning presentation has been already been toasted by everyone from Billboard, Wired, Fast Company, Wall Street Journal, Flaunt, LA Times, URB, Time Out New York, Filter... don’t take it from us, though!
