Amon is just one of those artists that has such an impressive catalogue of music, it can be a bit daunting to know where to dive in if you're just beginning to get familiar. Or perhaps you're the kind of fan that knows every track he's ever released and you're up to the challenge of testing your musical knowledge.

To celebrate the launch of the new webstore, we are proud to bring you a very special mix compiled by DJ Rich Ears entitled 'Who The Hell Is Amon Tobin?' This carefully-constructed exploration of Amon's creative history is a delicious dip in the toes for long-time fans and curious folks alike.

The Amsterdam-based DJ Rich Ears has stitched together some pretty impressive mixes over the last couple of years featuring electronic music heavyweights, which are all available via his Soundcloud page. He recently snagged a spot on the Solid Steel Radio Program with a killer ambient mix. Click here for up-to-date info.

You can grab the mix by clicking for free download, where you'll be added to the Amon Tobin newsletter that will keep you up-to-date on the latest news regarding releases, merchandise and behind-the-scenes goodies!

We here at AT HQ are very proud to announce the launch of the new webstore!

You fine folks may have noticed some changes on the site over the last couple of weeks. We've been very busy meticulously cataloguing the impressively enormous cache of Amon's creative output over the last 15+ years and tweaking the user experience. And we are extremely excited with the results!

You can now peruse Amon's entire back catalogue and preview every single album, 12" single, EP and pretty much any track Amon has ever produced directly from the store & discography sections of this site. His entire Ninja Tune back catalogue is now available, including rare out-of-print titles not previously available through online retailers.

Each title from Amon's other musical projects including Two Fingers, 60 Hz and Eskamon can also be seen, heard, and purchased through the shop.

And that's not all! You'll also find exclusive releases such as the Monthly Joints Series and Taxidermia projects, as well as new t-shirts, limited edition posters and ringtones Amon designed himself.

The webstore offers the opportunity to purchase items in multiple formats (where available) and in specially-curated bundles. Many packages are extremely limited so hurry on over to take a look!

Stay informed by joining the email newsletter by grabbing the freebie offer on the right side (we don't spam, promise). What, did someone say BUSY? November was jam packed with loads of seriously great things bubbling. London Met Orchestra's performance at Royal Albert Hall on 11/14 went beautifully (see photo). Keep an ear out on some possible developments around that. AT HQ has very, very busy tweaking the new webstore that contains a CRAZY amount of Amon's back catalogue. New merch goodies are on the way. We'll be releasing an incredible new freebie giveaway too. And deep within his studio bunker, Amon's sound construction experiments continue.  Stay tuned...!

UPDATE BELOW - On Sunday Nov 14th at Royal Albert Hall, you lucky Londoners will have a chance to witness one of the most epic presentations of Amon's music to date:

The London Metropolitan Orchestra will perform renditions of selected works from Amon's vast musical catalogue. Please note that Amon will not be performing at this show.

A few tickets are still available via the Royal Albert Hall box office, and a small number of tickets will be available at the door. Other acts on the bill include The Cinematic Orchestra and Dorian Concept. Act fast!

To get inspired, check out this incredible video on the London Metropolitan Orchestra.

UPDATE 11/12/10: We regret to inform Amon's fans planning to attend the show on 11/14 that Amon will not be able to personally present the London Metropolitan Orchestra's performance of his selected works. The performance itself will go on as originally planned, but without Amon's introduction. Unfortunately all current efforts to grant Amon permission to travel outside of the US have been thwarted, despite every indication to the contrary at press time announcing the show. As much as Amon regrets he will not be able to be there himself to see the fruits of this collaboration, we reiterate there will be no change to the performance itself, which promises to be very special. Performances by headliner The Cinematic Orchestra and supporting act Dorian Concept remain unchanged.

Ribcage Rattle Alert! It's been a while since Amon hit the road, so you best believe that some soundsystems are about to be properly punished.

Amon will be touching down in a handful of cities within the next 3 weeks to celebrates Ninja Tune's XX Anniversary with a whole slew of talented Ninjas. Tickets are moving FAST FAST FAST so if you're in the following cities and haven't grabbed yours yet, you might want to jump on that right about now (or just make your way to San Fran)

FLUX Screening Series at the Hammer Museum Wednesday, September 15, 7-11pm   If you are in Los Angeles tonight, you must check out the FLUX Screening Series at the Hammer Museum, which features innovative short films, music videos, filmmaker retrospectives and performances.   'Esther's' was hand-selected to be a part of tonight's music video programme.
IT LIVES... The highly-anticipated 'Esther's' video has finally hit the internet. Up-and-coming Belgian director Charles De Meyer (aka Chuck Eklectric) first met Amon Tobin in 2007, just after the release of his Foley Room album, and proposed his idea for a short film for the song. Think invasion of the robots with a romantic twist. Amon was impressed and came on board to work on the sound design. The result is absolutely stunning.
