In a first for Amon Tobin, we are pleased to announce the new AT–1 Series loudspeakers, a collaboration with the boutique audio firm Nautic. Hand crafted from carbon fiber by master builders in the UK. A unique shape & arresting finishes compliment optimal acoustic presence and neutrality. Wireless, Digital or Analog Input Sources

The loudspeaker has digital and analog inputs to connect with a TV, a ChromeCast unit, or an Airport for Airplay, providing features to be used everyday: different modes for a night-time movie vs a party with friends. It gets the sound level right so that you aren’t reaching for the volume control. These modes are controlled via wifi using an app. Updates will be available for unique sound mixes by music and movie sound artists and can be downloaded to the loudspeaker. A custom acoustic equalization mode is also available.

Amon worked with Nautic to create speakers with the highest quality components: a ribbon loudspeaker with ultrasonic frequency extension and twin woofer units that give high powered bass with ultra low distortion. The unique tweeter waveguide gives constant directivity, reducing colouration from ceiling reflections to enhance the image clarity, increasing clarity of speech in film.
